maldonconstitutional.club January 2022 Dear Member. May I, on behalf of all our Club Management Committee, wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year for 2022. May it be a lot happier and more prosperous than the last! As you are all probably aware, we are partway through a refurbishment programme of the Club. We have remodelled the Bar and Lounge areas, installing bespoke furniture, including the very recent addition of the new comfy bar stools. There are also plans for new lighting in the games (snooker) room to be completed early in the year. The Club Social calendar is well under way once more, with musical entertainment approximately every three weeks, as well as other, “one-off events”. Please refer to information displayed within the Club and on the Website . Other activities are also due to re-start, including the fortnightly Sunday Eve Bingo on the 9 th January. The Club Kitchen will be reopening after Christmas break on Thursday 6 th January, with Sunday lunches commencing on the 9 th January, (lamb or chicken), please pre- book. I will take this opportunity again to extend a very warm welcome to the 100+ new members who have joined us over the past few weeks and to remind everyone that your membership subscriptions become due on the 1 st January.
